Primary Tutoring
Focused, one-to-one tutoring that builds strong foundations across every primary subject, tailored to each child's pace and level. Reading: comprehension, inference, vocabulary, sequencing, summarising, prediction, retrieval, and 11+ style texts. Writing: creative writing, descriptive writing, story structure, sentence building, paragraphs, planning, and editing. Grammar: parts of speech, punctuation, sentence types, tenses, conjunctions, clauses, and active/passive voice. Spelling & Vocabulary: spelling patterns, prefixes, suffixes, homophones, word meanings, synonyms, and antonyms. Maths Reasoning: word problems, problem-solving, multi-step questions, logical reasoning, patterns, fractions, percentages, and measurement. Maths Skills: number, arithmetic, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, geometry, measurement, and data handling. SATs exam preparation, covering all of the above, is built into every primary tutoring session.
11+ Exam Prep
Structured, exam-focused coaching across all four 11+ papers, helping students approach entrance exams with confidence. Verbal Reasoning — technique-building and targeted practice across common question types. Non-Verbal Reasoning — pattern recognition and spatial reasoning skills. Reading — comprehension and inference at 11+ standard. Creative Writing — structure, style, and exam technique. Maths — reasoning, problem-solving, and exam-style questions.
